Note from Cindy: Following is an excerpt from a recent automatic writing session with Spirit. I posted the rest of this session on Facebook last Friday, June 21.
Spirit: I want to talk about the sun.
Cindy: ok. What would you like to discuss about the sun?
Spirit: The sun is a good metaphor for something that is wildly good but can also be bad. For example, the sun provides you with warmth and vitamin D that you need, but it is also filled with gaseous matter that is toxic if inhaled and is way too hot if you’re too close. It also provides a way to see things. The absence of light is seen as not only dark but evil, whereas the presence of light is seen as good or heavenly. God and the sun are sometimes connected because both are seen as positive aspects of the human experience.
The idea is to consider that for most things in your world there are two perspectives. The sun can be both good and bad. Love can be both good and bad. Money is both good and bad. You get the idea. Your job is to see the dichotomy of any item that you encounter. The idea that you can see the duality at the same time is where you’re really going to find it fascinating. If you can only see the negative to water or the positive to water, then it’s like you’re only enjoying a half life. You have to embrace the duality of all things to really embrace a full well-rounded life. Your expansion of self and your consciousness happens only when you can see the duality. And then when you can judge the duality of the good and bad, then you can recognize the judgment behind the two ends of the same spectrum and then the judgment can fade away a bit for things that don’t really need to be judged.
It’s a way to look at things from a different perspective. And when you really understand the concept, you’ll have an “ah-ha” moment. You’ll be so filled with an insight that you didn’t have before that you’ll just sit in awe of the experience you’re having—your Earth experience. You know as spirit, it’s interesting to talk with spirits that have never incarnated vs. those of us who have. The ones who have never incarnated have a lot more difficulty seeing the full rounded aspect even here, because their perspective is flatter. When you can touch and feel and experience something and even judge it while in an Earth body, then when you’re no longer attached to an Earth body, you can see the fact that things can be judged and at the same time there is no judgment. You see, if you have no frame of reference, you can’t understand “hot”. You can’t understand “cold”. You can‘t understand opposites of any kind. If you have no relativity, things are flatter. Things don’t have the same dimension, whether it is an actual object, or a feeling, or a thought. You have to have the relativity to truly experience the fullness that you are able to experience, because of the relativity of the opposites and the duality at the same time.
