Psychic Medium Q&A 116: Event Timing

Posted by Cindy - November 7, 2014 - Psychic Medium FAQ

What should you expect from a psychic medium? In this continuing Eclectic Horizons blog series, we have outlined some potential client questions. Click here for more related posts.

Q: What information can a psychic medium provide in regard to event timing?

A: Timing about both past and future events can be shared during a psychic medium reading.

In many cases, psychic medium readings involve some reference to timing—either referencing a past event or a future predicted event.

Timing of Past Events

Evidential Event Timing

A loved one might use timing as a piece of evidence for you as the sitter. Spirit might make reference to:

  • your age or theirs when your loved one died;
  • the month, day, or year that he/she died; or
  • how long it has been since your loved one passed.

Specific Literal Evidence

Sometimes this evidence might be clearly given, so very little translation is required. For example, I might receive the word “September” and see a casket. With those two pieces of evidence, it’s clear to me that your loved one is communicating that he/she died in September.

Evidence that Requires Translation

In other readings, I may receive evidence that requires more translation. For example, it is common to receive a number. If the number is 12 or less, it might refer to a month, day, year, age, etc., I will ask Spirit to provide me with more details, to lessen the burden on me the translator, and you the sitter, but sometimes Spirit isn’t forthcoming with that additional information. In my communication of this number, I will share any information Spirit provides, to help you understand the evidence that is being communicated. However, many times Spirit provides vague information with the intention that the sitter will translate the information.

Predicting Event Timing

Predictions of any kind generally involve some element of timing. As I explained in a previous blog, predictions are highly dependent upon the actions (and inaction) of all parties involved. Therefore, if you don’t like the timing of a future event that solely involves you, you have the free will to change the timing of that prediction. If the timing is not comfortable to you, you can speed it up or slow it down by the actions you take.

When providing guidance from Spirit that involves timing, I may be given a specific date, a range, or a general time frame. I may also be provided with very specific information, or information that requires translation (e.g., 5 might refer to days, weeks, months, years, May, the fifth, etc.)
