Following is an excerpt from one of Cindy’s automatic writing sessions.
Cindy: …so, tell me what you WOULD like to talk about today.
Spirit: I want to talk about space travel. It is really cool, Cindy. Kent would really dig it. You should try it.
Cindy: But how?
Spirit: Well, it’s like a magic carpet ride. (I think he’s mocking me at this point.)
Cindy: Oh really?
Spirit: You can experience it however you want. If you want to be superwoman(man), you can, or if you want to be Aladdin on his magic carpet, you can do that, too. The hardest part is convincing your logical mind that you CAN FLY, or astral travel, as it were. If you want to experiment, you can tour around a city, or you can just show up at a destination. The most fun for me is to experience the travel, though. It’s like being a bird. Remember “Jonathan Livingston Seagull?”
Cindy: I love that book.
Spirit: It is a good story.
…so, the first thing you do is to set the intention that you’re going to travel. The easiest time to do it is when you are sleeping. Set the intention that you’re going to travel to a specific location. Meditate to clear your mind of all the noise from the day and fall asleep. Then in your dreams the first time, picture yourself flying above the location you envisioned. You don’t even have to know what the place looks like. If you want a guide, you can call upon me or anyone else you talk to. We’re all pretty open, although some enjoy it more than others of course.
Cindy: I keep thinking of that “Magic Carpet Ride” song. Magic Carpet Ride (Album Version)
Spirit: I put that there, because I though it might make you laugh.
