Although we’re not animal communicators, animals often show themselves in a reading with a client. The animals that come into a client reading are either pets in spirit or are a symbolic representation to provide a message to the client.
Sometimes I find myself giggling when I communicate with animal spirits because of the visions I see. My logical mind just can’t resolve having a conversation with an animal. It’s almost like watching a cartoon animal talking to me—yet it’s not a cartoon.
When I receive a symbolic message in the form of an animal, I don’t generally get a sense of the meaning the animal represents during the reading. After a reading, a client can research the meaning behind the animal either on-line or by using one of the many reference books written on the topic. We recommend a reference book called Animal Spirit Guides, by Steven D. Farmer, Ph.D.
Although initially a symbolic animal may not resonate with a client, when meanings are researched, the accuracy of the message in relation to the client’s current circumstances is often amazingly accurate.
